So.. this happened multiple times during February and March when we had random days of (in my books) good weather (15/16/17 degrees). I thought the whole city was messing with me. 90% of people I passed were decked out in winter wear; thick scarves and fur trimmed hoods, the whole package, whilst I'm there burning in a t-shirt...
I guess not everywhere is like London where we greet the slightest hint of sunshine and warmth with summer clothes and trips to the seaside. We know the sun never sticks around there so we know to make the most of it when it squeezes itself in between all those grey days.
The people of Nantes must have some sort of internal temperature regulator allowing them to stick to their winter wardrobe until the official start of spring no matter the weather. It's much better now spring has officially begun and we're getting 25degrees some days. Now we're all on the same coat-free page and I can blend in better/look less like a weirdo.
I feel I've typed too much...
